This 18 lot subdivision is the first private development in Warren, MN in the last 30 years.  Completion of the Snake River Diversion project helped make the development feasible, as the land involved was completely removed from the 100 year flood-plain.

FS Engineering staff developed the layout and plans, which included watermain, sanitary and stormsewer, asphalt paving, and curb and gutter.  Crucial to the development was the inclusion of a stormwater detention pond to handle runoff.  FS engineers modeled various storm events and designed a pond on the western edge of the development, which will hold runoff, allow sediments to settle, and control the quantity of water entering back into the Snake River.
